It’s a new word.  And bugger me doesn’t it work well! 🙂

I was helping my mate the bathing beauty – in understanding my view on how to get the most out of manufacturing her own product.  What a fun night – fuelled with a drop of red, a hair dryer and a brown paper bag 😉 if only you all knew just how we used them!

Success for bathing beauty is not one of just selling products and being happy.  Instead success for my mate will be being happy; for if she loves what she is doing she will be successful – because she is awesome at making good stuff.  Whether it be food for her family or products fit for an organic princess, the girl has it sorted.  Except that she is seriously short of time…

And she needs her sleep – she is a beauty after all……

So sitting there in my mates kitchen I found myself lost on where to begin.  The laundry needs putting away, the dog needs a walk, the kids need help with their homework, we need a drink and the husband needs some attention to stop him withering away….oh and buy the way the products need labelling, sorting, packing, kitting, hampering, slicing, …………

“Without selling one, I shouldn’t have made the next one”….is  a thought I often think around my children just before I reach for the bottle of red and the corkscrew….and when I have to make another decision – what should I do to make money?

So me and my mate in the kitchen, we now have a bottle of red on the go, we are using the hair dryer to maximum effect and the paper bags are proving useful – and I’m figuring out the first step towards understanding my mates goal:  Happiness.  Because that is my mates goal.  She wants a happy family, a happy home, be happy with her business, have a happy husband and a happy hound.

So we have my mates goal:  To make enough happiness for now and in the future.  And make money whilst doing it too…
